Laurie Critchley is no stranger to the hard grind of documentary filmmaking: over a long career in which she’s covered subjects ranging from Rupert Murdoch to Bob Hawke to the politics of international football, the producer has met a kaleidoscope of challenges head-on. But in her latest endeavour, the series Missing Persons Investigation, she took on possibly the toughest assignment yet, certainly one that brought with it a range of quite distinctive issues.
